Patrick, Partner at Byars Cooper Insurance Group, graduated from Auburn University in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Prior to entering the Insurance Industry, he started his career in textile manufacturing in North Alabama where his family owned and operated a sock mill for over 25 years. In 2010, he and his wife Jennifer moved to the Auburn/Opelika area and opened Gigi’s Cupcakes. Since then they have expanded to locations in nearby Montgomery and Columbus where they employ some 40 people.
While Patrick’s daily schedule no longer includes baking and serving cupcakes, he continues with the mindset that relationships are built through trust and serving others. Patrick’s broad experience throughout his career is a tremendous asset in this industry.
Patrick and his wife Jennifer reside in Auburn and have two children- Clay and Cate.
